Bad news....

During Tushie's Ultrasound on March 4 Dr Duffy proclaimed her pregnant, but felt that the puppies looked very small for the gestational age.   He wanted to repeat the Utrasound today (3/13).    Sadly, he proclaimed Tushie Not pregnant, or no longer pregnant (resorbed the litter).    Anne, Richard, and I are devastated.    This was an exciting breeding...one that held much promise.  If you are interested in a puppy related to the CnSand crew please visit Dr. Cindy O'Connor's website at: www.Queridapwds.com

She has two litters that are a couple weeks old.   One is sired by Bronze GCh. CnSand Ardanwood Whitewash the Fence 4 Me  (Sawyer).  Dr O'Connor is a well respected Veterinarian and former board member of the PWDCA.  She resides in Plymouth, Mass.

The Next CnSand Litter will probably be in the fall.

Tushie's Pregnancy is CONFIRMED!!!

Anne, Tushie, and I went to Norwalk Veterinary hospital yesterday where Dr Charles Duffy confirmed her pregnancy!  Numbers are not an exact science with dogs and ultrasounds...though he saw at least 4.  Pups due around April 3!  

Tiara and I return to the show ring.

This is Tiara and I at the CT Working Group Show on March 2nd.   This was my first time back in the ring in over 3 years.   While I am still generally on a Cane for most of the day.....I worked with my PT to try and get back in the ring.   I only showed Tiara and I must say I paid for it the next two or three days....it was worth it.  Photo by Chris Harris.
