Zsa Zsa's Legacy

Zsa Zsa's babies at just over 4 weeks (they are still small as they were premies). Thanks to Richard and Ann (Tushie's parents) for caring for the pups. I needed time to grieve, and Richard and Ann stepped in to care for this special group of 6. They will be back in Glastonbury soon.....but for now they are having a fabulous time in NY on acres and acres of beautiful lawn and their own apartment!

Ch. Abadessan's Tantrums and Tiaras

It is with immense sadness that I announce the passing of Ch Abadessan's Tantrums and Tiaras, Zsa Zsa. Unfortunately I had to let Zsa Zsa go to the Rainbow Bridge on September 3rd. For those that knew Zsa Zsa she was unforgettable....she had a large and demanding personality! She truly lived up to her name. The way she stomped around the show ring daring you to take your eyes off of her.....or carried on a prolonged conversation with the cacophony of noises she loved to make. She had the darkest eyes with the most beautiful expression. You always knew that she was your teammate.....she would gaze at you saying..."it's you and me...whats next?" She was pushy, stubborn, loving and hyper aware of what you were feeling....sadness or joy...she was there to comfort or revel in the joy of the moment. My back yard will never recover from Zsa Zsa's zoomies.....she ran a figure eight that is permanently carved in my yard...barking her fool head off. She would run joyously in to the Maine Ocean in the middle of the winter! She touched many people's lives and will not soon be forgotten by those she loved best........she leaves behind a legacy of her children....many of whom have her special qualities......

Thank you Sonja Jenssen of Abadessan PWDs in Sweden.....I can not imagine my life without Zsa......and it is certainly difficult to do so. I appreciate you sending me my crazy curly girl.

* Zsa Zsa's kidneys failed. The cause is unknown, though my vet (who has a Zsa Zsa son) feels it was due to an Immune response possibly due to a low level infection or Lyme disease (she had and was treated for Lyme in 2005). Zsa did not have a congenital Kidney defect.
