Fani wins BIG!!

In Fani's (CH CnSand Fanf'Heir at ArdanWood) debut as a move up special she was awarded 3 straight Best of Breed wins as well as a Working Group 3. On the forth day she was awarded "select". She now holds (we think) 19 points with four majors towards her Grand Championship title. She needs 25 total points to earn her grand...so only 6 more! Thanks to her owners Richard and Anne and to Jen Krieger for handling Fani.

Speedo!!!!!

So......Scooby got his name changed......he is now Speedo! I am all about unique and humorous names.....too many people didn't get the original registered name I was going to use that went with Scooby.....so I switched gears and came up with CnSand Kiss My Splash! His call name is Speedo. He seems to like it just fine as long as I give him a cookie!

And then there was one....

The Count, now named Henley, has gone to his new home. It was truly meant to be...

He is living in MA with Neil and Kelly and their PWD Hinckley.......here is where it gets interesting.......Hinkley and Henley (The Count) have MANY things in common.....both were first born, both were smallest at birth, both are Parti color AND both have CH Mousillion Chuck the Survivor as Grandpa. Why that is cool is that Hinckley's Dad Fenway was born in the USA where Chuck lived at the time...and SASE Henley's Mom was born in Sweden where Chuck currently resides. OK...so maybe that is cooler to me...then "Normal" people!!! :) At any rate, Hinckley and Henley (now thats a mouthful!) are having a great time!

Congrats to Anat for Mika's attaining her championship yesterday. Along the way Mika earned a Best of Breed and 3 major wins! Anat handled Mika at the beginning of her career and post puppies Rick and Jen Kreiger took the reigns and put three majors on her as well as some single points. Yahooo!

The SASE X Frodo pups will be starting to go home this weekend. So.....one of the families (who had a PWD previously) is getting Miss Piggy. Poor Raquel broke her arm this past weekend playing Soccer....so they drew a picture of their soon to be puppy Miss Piggy on the cast.....

Maisie (owned by Chris Harris) just delivered Otto babies....7 in all...4 boys and three girls. Smallest weighs just over 14 ounces...biggest is over 19 ounces.....that's HUGE!

Fani gets three more points!

Fani (CnSand Fanf'Heir at Ardanwood) was WB all three days this past weekend and earned 3 more points. Fani now has 9 points.....no majors. Fani is owned by Richard and Anne Garber and is shown by Rick and Jen Krieger.

Mika (Wayfarer CnSand Pure Karma) shown winning her first major! Mika now has 12 points. Rick Krieger is handling her. Mika is bred by the Gaults. I co-own her with Anat. Mika's dad is Otto (Ch. CnSand Bass Ackwards) and mom is Moxie (Ch. Akire Gotta Lotta Moxie).

Yeah Owen! new CH. CnSand thr'OWEN Big Left Hooks finsihed his championship today. Owen was shown from start to finish by Rick Krieger. Other good news of today...Mika (Wayfarer CnSand Pure Karma) whom I co-Own got her first Major today. Mika is up to 12 points! Also Fani (CnSand Fanf'Heir at Ardanwood) whom I co-own with Richard and Anne was Winners bitch both Thursday and Friday for a total of three points! Mika and Fani are both handled by the Kriegers.

Pups have arrived!

So....the pups I expected mid next week....came LAST NIGHT!!!!!! All are doing well! They were a little early but seem to be full term. SASE is a great Mom and had a fabulous delivery. 7 pups. 4 girls and 3 boys. Two parti color (one boy and one girl), 4 Heavy Irish (full collars) and one black with white. Pups are smaller than what I usually get (though well within normal) from 6.7 to 10 ounces.

SASE X Frodo pups due next week!

SASE (Abadessan's Signed, Sealed, Delivered) is pregnant with 6 or 7 pups as confirmed by Xray today!!!! Proud Daddy is Frodo (Ch. DownEast Lord of the Rings). Although Frodo is brown I don't think SASE carries it so I expect Black, and Black and White...all wavies. Due next week.

The Reunion was a great success! Thanks to all who attended and of course to Richard and Anne for hosting! We had 22 people and 15 dogs....we had Que-la the oldest at 10 (she is from the 2nd CnSand litter) down to Sawyer, Sun, and Jazz at 10 weeks from the 14th CnSand litter!
